What do you mean when you say: I link my Medium story to my Substack story?
I add a link on my Medium story to my Substack story at the beginning for non-members to read for free (instead of a friend link).
I just started doing this.
The use of Substack invitation links at the end of such articles is effective; a significant portion of my readership now comes from Medium.
I also have new subscribers coming from there now. It works.
I started this, too. I changed all my bylines at the bottom of each Medium story (a tedious process , but I have fewer stories than you) to include only one link— to my Working Writers Substack. 👍🏼👍🏼
I will also do that, working on it, I just have so many LoL
But this is the right way I believe. So far I like Substack.
