I was recently away for 6 weeks. I pre-scheduled my weekly posts, not so much because I was afraid my growth would stall. It was more for me. I know that if I lost the momentum of having something published every week, I’d likely come back with no motivation to get back into it.
Im glad I put in the work to preschedule. In those 6 weeks I got a few paid subscribers who are now the motivation for me to continue posting. Growth slowed, but didn’t stall. It took a while to get back into the rhythm of posting notes and engaging. But if my Substack had been quiet, I would likely have abandoned it.

That's the right way to do, so that growth keeps going even if you're not able to show up for a while.
