Stress doesn’t have to run the show. Whether you’re just starting to recognize how stress affects you, or you’re someone who’s been deep-diving into this work for years, there’s always a new layer to explore, a fresh perspective to try.

Here's my last post - I cross-posted with Michael Thompson, and added a few of my own thoughts to relate it to horse breeding.

I like your emphasis on consistency, I believe it is crucial in all walks of life.

Great article I didn't know that about yellow Penguins.

By the way, my great aunt trained horses for the Olympics.

As I stated in the comment, I have seen horses breed up close and personal once and that was enough for me 🤠

You are so blessed to do what you do I've rescued many horses, Missouri, Foxtrotters, not sure if you've heard of them. They are the most gorgeous, spiritual animals that I have ever come in contact with. Let's just say they taught me a lot about myself.

One really has to develop good habits for success and if they're learning something new, I think the key is to find someone that's been successful at whatever you're trying to do and have them coach or mentor you. It really does cut down on the learning curve 😉

Yes I have heard of them, a gaited breed. Horses do teach you a lot about yourself. They are like mirrors to oneself. You can't have calm horses if you aren't calm yourself, for example. Thank you for your reply.

yeah, there's been like 17 gates in those horses when I rescue the ones I rescued I had a natural farrier so we didn't put shoes on them or anything. I did not ride them or put saddles on them. I took very good care of them in the pasture I had one her name was cinnamon. She was almost chestnut and she had the heaves. She was one of the first and I spent $16,000 that year trying to save her from the heaves but it's really inevitable what the outcome would be. I just couldn't give up. I I was even having an acupuncturist come out and we were doing Chinese herbs and then when I got to the point when I had to put a mask on and do a treatment, she started to found her. I said that's it. I can't let her suffer. The vet should've told me a little bit earlier you know looking back, but she was my first horse, and I didn't really know 😔

Great advice, thank you!

Of course Gabi! there's so much more I need to say that can help people naturally and even if they take meds, I can still help them maybe decrease the meds or make sure they're actually working by helping them ask questions of their physician or for certain labs and things like that, but that's why I'm here 🤗
